An Evolving Career in Corporate and Regulatory Law

Vartika is a qualified lawyer with progressive experience in corporate advisory, regulatory research, and international contract drafting. As legal advisor at Jus Scriptum, she provides strategic guidance on corporate and commercial matters, policy formulation, and regulatory risk mitigation for clients operating across multiple industries. Her work spans contract negotiation, employment law, governance documentation, and dispute resolution, supported by a track record of mentoring legal teams and coordinating with external counsel.

As an Independent Paralegal, Vartika has handled over 200 commercial contracts for clients in technology, healthcare, and finance sectors across the UK, US, and EU. Her experience includes cross-jurisdictional research, GDPR and data-protection compliance, and M&A due diligence support. She maintains ongoing relationships with global clients, ensuring accuracy and regulatory integrity in every engagement.

In her previous experience, she advised start-ups and emerging enterprises on business structuring, corporate governance, and intellectual-property issues, while supporting litigation and compliance audits. Her early work strengthened her understanding of UK employment law, company formations, and professional communications for regulated businesses.

Role and Focus at BluFin

At BluFin, Vartika will advise on cross-border contract law, regulatory review, and legal process governance, supporting the firm’s regional initiatives in private markets, family office advisory, and corporate structuring. Her scope includes:

• Drafting and review of investment, partnership, and service agreements.
• Advising on jurisdictional regulatory requirements and data-protection frameworks.
• Assisting with legal audits and transaction documentation for institutional mandates.
• Providing internal training and knowledge support on legal and compliance procedures.

Vartika holds a B.A. LL.B from the Institute of Law and Research, where she served as Student Mentor and was awarded Best Researcher at a national moot competition. She is completing a Contract Law Specialization at Harvard Law University (2025), focused on advanced principles of formation, enforceability, and remedies.
