BluFin Appoints Quek Siau Leng (Aaron) as Senior Advisor Covering Singapore, with Focus on Real Estate and AI

BluFin welcomes Quek Siau Leng (Aaron) as Senior Advisor in Singapore, bringing 30+ years of expertise in real estate, governance, and AI-driven strategy.

BluFin is pleased to welcome Quek Siau Leng (Aaron) as a senior advisor, where he will extend the firm’s leadership coverage into Singapore and support its global platform with a particular focus on real estate strategies and the application of AI in investment and governance.

With more than three decades of diversified experience across Singapore, Malaysia, China, the United Kingdom, and Australia, Aaron has held senior roles in family offices, multinational corporations, SMEs, and government-linked agencies. His career reflects both breadth and depth: from property development and cross-border investments to regulatory compliance and financial oversight.

Aaron’s professional journey has included leadership positions as financial controller, finance manager, general manager, director, and internal auditor, spanning industries such as real estate, shipping, construction, aviation, and education. He has directly overseen property investments in Australia, managed shipping operations in Malaysia, and supported family offices.

Earlier in his career, Aaron also worked in London as an audit trainee, providing him with firsthand understanding of regulatory and financial systems.

As a Fellow of both the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), Aaron brings a strong grounding in global accounting standards and governance frameworks, skills that are critical to institutional capital partners evaluating opportunities in Singapore.

Driving BluFin’s Global Priorities in Singapore, Real Estate, and AI

At BluFin, Aaron’s appointment underscores our commitment to integrating regional expertise with thematic investment leadership. His mandate will cover Singapore, where BluFin is expanding its advisory capabilities to support family offices, institutional allocators, and crossborder partnerships.

Aaron will also focus on two domains where his expertise and interests converge:

  • Real Estate – advising on property-linked investments, portfolio structuring, and crossborder development strategies.
  • Artificial Intelligence – shaping BluFin’s thinking around AI, and its long-term role in asset and education sectors.

Aaron is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Education (Artificial Intelligence), complementing his MBA and postgraduate studies in counselling psychology. His interdisciplinary background allows him to connect financial strategy with broader human and technological dimensions—an increasingly important capability as AI begins to influence capital markets and investor behaviours.

Aaron’s addition to the BluFin team strengthens our ability to combine regional insight with thematic foresight. His Asian coverage, real estate knowledge, and forward-looking interest in AI will help us guide partners through emerging opportunities that demand both institutional discipline and innovative thinking.

We are proud to welcome Aaron as part of BluFin’s leadership team.
